Our story
Since 2012, intensive research has been conducted at PlastFormance's sister company, ATP Aicher + Tröbs Produktentwicklung GmbH, to develop new chemical processes for improving high-performance compounds. In 2014, it was achieved for the first time to produce injection-moldable thermoplastics with significantly higher filler content (e.g., highly thermally conductive compounds).
Following further technological breakthroughs, this innovative development was first patented in 2015 and granted to ATP at the end of 2017. Since then, the technology has been continuously developed, also through subsequent patents.
PlastFormance GmbH was founded as an independent company in the summer of 2018. Since then, PlastFormance has been developing, producing, and distributing highly filled plastics in Teisendorf. All related patents and the entire know-how are held by PlastFormance. ATP, a strong sister company with expertise in CAD design, component development, mold making, and injection molding, works closely with PlastFormance.
