Product technology
PlastFormance technology makes it possible to produce compounds with previously unattainable fill levels without sacrificing processability in injection molding.
The resulting materials are highly functional, as the fillers (e.g., ceramic or metallic) pass on their properties to the compound while simultaneously maintaining the processability of plastics.

Best of both worlds?
Plastic compounds combine the properties of a filler (e.g., ceramic or metallic) and a plastic in a single material. The inheritance of the filler characteristics by the respective compound becomes more pronounced the higher the filler content in the finished material.
The problem
In existing compounds, processability, especially flowability in injection molding, decreases rapidly with increasing filler content. The full performance range often cannot be achieved because the limits of processability have been reached.

PlastFormance technology enables injection molding capability even at very high fill levels.
(80% vol.) largely maintained. Depending on the filler used, we can adjust the desired material properties (e.g., electrical conductivity or insulation). Because we use powder-like rather than platelet-shaped filler particles, very high thermal conductivities can be achieved not only in-plane but also in the integral direction of the component.
